For 90% of adults Ultra Medium is the optimum size and height.
The Ultra model is used for adults with average size mouths. It has a full-sized arch and is available in three vertical dimensions: Low (1mm), Medium (2mm) and High (3mm), which differ by the amount of fluid in the Aqualizer.
The Mini model is a smaller, shorter, thinner model designed for small adult mouths and teens, and is also comes in three vertical dimensions: Low (0.75mm), Medium (1.5mm) and High (2mm). All thicknesses cover the same arch length.
The Slim model has slimmer shape, adapts well to the dental arch with less lingual contact and is suitable for patients who experience elevated sensitivity, with average sized mouths. Low (1mm) thick, Medium (2mm) thick, High (3mm) thick.
Bite registrations taken using Aqualizer can be used to make a permanent therapeutic splint or a night guard.
Aqualizer contains two fluid-filled pads with a channel connecting them, allowing the fluid to move to either side.·
